Pale appeared from obscurity late last year when they posted a solitary video online to the track Too Much. Directed by friend of the band, Jesse John Jenkins, their provocative and stylish aesthetic garnered immediate attention leading Huh magazine to shortlist it in their ‘Best of 2012’ edition and many thousands of views.
With their first offering produced by Jas Shaw of Simian Mobile Disco, Pale are a sophisticated proposition both live and on record. Though they seem to be routed in the electronic world, they have other dimensions. With R’n’B beats, pop melodies, shimmering guitars and a dark undertone they are a fresh and exciting prospect.
